The award was presented during NEMA’s Annual Meeting, held November 4–6 in Palm Beach, Florida, where industry leaders gathered to celebrate innovation, leadership, and excellence.
Rick Heffernan, Group VP – Codes, Standards, and Strategy, accepted the award on behalf of SDi during the ceremony.
This recognition reflects SDi’s ongoing commitment to delivering smarter, safer, and more efficient fire alarm testing and inspection solutions. A key factor in this achievement is the development of the XTR2, our electronic smoke and heat detector tester designed to streamline inspection processes and provide clear, digital proof of testing — helping fire safety professionals save time and demonstrate compliance more easily.
The Illuminations Award is presented annually to a NEMA member company with fewer than 500 employees that demonstrates exceptional innovation, entrepreneurial excellence, and impact in the electroindustry.
